Because the primary vitamins in your pack are foodstateŽ products you don't need to take them with food. Taking any supplement with food will tend to make digestion easier however so keep that in mind. Studies have shown that calcium is absorbed best in smaller doses. So if your formula calls for 6 calcium capsules we will pack them 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM.
2. There are alot of vitamins in these packs! Do I really need this many?
Truly, medical studies using supplements dose them much higher than you will see on product labels. It's impossible to get the sheer number of milligrams required to effect the body in one or two capsules. If you read the labels on many energy drinks sports products or supplements you'll see the phrase "proprietary blend". What follows typically does not state the number of milligrams in the formula. The label will say Rhodila Rosea for instance but no amount. Or it will list a number of products, with a total mlligram amount but no breakdown. It's shady to say the least. Doing it that way enables them to list the really trendy products without giving you a clue as to how much you are really getting.
3. Are they FDA approved?
Yes, all of our vitamins come from suppliers that are both FDA approved and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) approved. In fact, our main contract manufacturer is the industry leader in supplement lab testing and provides those servicesfor other manufacturers.
4. What if I am taking medication? How do I know it's ok to take supplements with them?
You can use the Interactive Encyclopedia located on the home page to cross reference drug interactions with specific supplements and/or herbs, but please check with your doctor before taking any supplements.

Yes, please contact our office manager, Leslie Furtick at Leslie@ediblescience.comand she will make the necessary arrangements for you. Don't forget that the auto-ship function can be adjusted so they arrive fresh to your door in whatever time frame you choose.
6. If I am on "auto-ship", can I change my order?
Yes, it is quite easy actually. Go into the "Account Log-in" page using your email address and password and click on the "auto-ship" tab. Follow the prompts to either change the products in your pack or the shipping dates.
7. Why do the vitamins cost so much? Great question! Please sit back and get comfortable, this may take a while! Because the packets make it easy to have consistent, total immersion in high quality nutrition day in and day out, you'll feel and see the results. Now
there is no reason for you to miss an opportunity to impact your
health. At every meal, at work, on vacation, even going out to eat, where ever you go your
nutritional plan can follow you. Our products are actually much more economical than conventional vitamins for the simple reason that they actually do what they claim to do! If the product you are taking does not keep you healthy in the long run, it is very very costly indeed. We dose our products in true therapeutic amounts so you don't have to spend hours on the internet researching which form, which brand, and how much to take. It also means that your getting more of the active ingredients that are really effective. Our high EGCG green tea for example has a full 200mg of the active ingredient epigallocatechin gallate which has the most therapeutic properties. The
same goes for our Resveratrol, it has an added emulsifier and is
micronized (made very very small) which makes it more usable by the
body.
Yes, on the front end these products are more expensive than many
conventional vitamins, but it's not an "apples to apples" comparison.
Many supplement companies devise formulas which include ingredients
that are receiving favorable press but if you read the label the
amounts are very tiny. It's known in the industry as "label marketing"
where the ingredient is there, but the consumer will not reap any
benefit from it. We know the fisherman that catch our award winning wild Alaskan sockeye salmon oil, we called the researchers at John-Hopkins
University who authored the famous study on brocolli sprouts and cancer
and found out where to get that exact same ingredient. Our passion is
finding the finest most effective products at any cost, because at the end of the day we
believe health IS wealth. . Lastly on a more philosophical or conceptual note, I don't want to take any chances when it comes to protecting myself from disease states or slowing aging. I'd rather look back and wonder if those expensive high quality supplements played a part in my long and comfortable life process rathar than wonder if I should have gone with the more expensive supplements because I'm now looking at a major health set back.
